[ The INSPIRE® Pledge ]
I understand that the racial wealth gap in America today is the result of past and present obstacles to opportunities for Black wealth accumulation, and that the persistence of that gap undermines progress toward fulfilling the American ideal of equal opportunity for all.
Those same race-based obstacles did not obstruct my opportunity to build wealth. Therefore, I pledge to donate at least 1% of my net worth over the next three years to one or more Black-led organizations that provide avenues to homeownership, business creation, education or other initiatives in the Black community that will help close the racial wealth gap.
Go Further
Closing the racial wealth gap requires more than awareness—it demands action. Explore a curated selection of resources, books, and articles designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools needed to make lasting change. Whether you’re seeking ways to support Black-owned businesses, advocate for fair housing policies, or educate others on the roots of economic inequality, these materials will help you take meaningful steps toward closing the gap.
